With our current lifestyle, we are exposed to various sources of toxins every day. You don’t have to be a drug user to be intoxicated. It is enough to eat processed foods, foods full of pesticides, junk food and to be exposed daily to sources of lead, mercury and other chemical elements that poison us little by little.

HAVE A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

It’s easy to say that we should change our habits. How often do we try to adopt a new lifestyle only to forget our good resolutions at the slightest temptation? And what about our resolutions to work out or drink a lot of water. We’re all human and staying the course can be a real struggle.

Having a healthy lifestyle does not necessarily mean sacrificing. You have to find the right balance and enjoy it so much that it becomes as natural as breathing. A good habit is developed gradually. Small steps, small gestures, nothing is left to chance. Let’s start by drinking more water every day. It is said that a bad or good habit takes 21 days to become natural. Give it a try. In the meantime, here’s how to figure out how much water to drink each day.

The recipe for establishing your daily drinking amount:

-> Your weight in pounds divided by two. This will give you the number of ounces you need to drink in a day! To know the amount in ml, do the result x 30! Example: Someone who weighs 160 pounds (160 divided by 2=80 ounces of water per day). In milliliters, that's 2400 ml or 2.4 liters.

BEYOND HEALTHY HABITS: A CURE FOR EACH SEASON

Even the most disciplined people with healthy habits can’t escape it; a good cure is beneficial in every way. Cures cleanse the body and help us release accumulated toxins in the liver and other filtering organs. What about the intestines that tend to hold our toxins sometimes for days.

At this level, here is another tip to help you validate the duration of your intestinal transit.

Swallow a teaspoon of white sesame seeds. Note the time.

Then watch your stool to note when you see your sesame seeds. Depending on the length of time, tell yourself that if your bowel movements last more than 18 hours or less than 6 hours, there is a red flag.
