  • Protease is the enzyme that digests proteins;
  • Amylase digests carbohydrates
  • Lipase digests lipids (fats).
  • Pancreatin is required for digestion of proteins, lipids, and carbohydrates.
  • Mycozyme metabolizes carbohydrates.
  • Bromelain, pepsin, and betaine HCl all help break down proteins.
  • Bile salts aid in the digestion of fats.

Medicinal Ingredients: each tablet contains 162 mg betaine hydrochloride, 90 mg alpha-amylase (from Aspergillus flavus var. Oryzae) (450 FCC DU), 50 mg bromelain (from pineapple fruit (Pineapple comosus var. Comosus) [30 MCU]), 45 mg papain (from papaya fruit (Carica papaya) [90,000 FCC]), 60 mg pepsin (from stomach of Sus scrofa [600, 000 FCC]), 40 mg bile salts, 22.5 mg pancreatic enzymes (derived from Sus scrofa pancreas) (5.00 USP units of amylase; 900 USP units of lipase; and 5,000 USP units of protease) and 0.5 mg of lipase (derived from Sus scrofa pancreas)(15 FCC LU). Non-medicinal ingredients: dicalcium phosphate, cellulose, stearic acid, magnesium stearate, carnauba wax, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, and purified water. May contain milk.
